THE 21 RESIDUE ASYMMETRIC UNIT CORRESPONDS TO ONE
TRIPLE-HELICAL REPEAT AND IS SMALLER THAN THE ENTIRE 90
RESIDUE PEPTIDE DUE TO TRANSLATIONAL DISORDER ALONG THE
HELICAL AXIS. THE RESULT IS A POLYMER-LIKE STRUCTURE WITH
