WATER MOLECULES HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE MODEL WHEN A PEAK HIGHT GREATER THAN 3.0 SIGMA WAS REACHED IN A FO-FC MAP AND WHEN REASONABLE H-BONDING WAS OBSERVED (<3.5 ANGSTROM FROM ANOTHER POLAR ATOM). AT LATER STAGES, SEVERAL WATER MOLECULES WERE REMOVED WHICH SHOWED INSUFFICIENT 2FO-FC ELECTRON DENSITY. THIS PROCEDURE LEFT SEVERAL OTHER WATER MOLECULES WITHOUT APPARENT HYDROGEN BONDING.
